It’s been awhile. Here’s my favorite thus far, on my “Eight Things the Airlines Aren’t Telling You” story from Budget Travel:
I’d love to see an article titled “Eight things travel reporters will never tell you about how much they exaggerate in their stories”. After all, what would they have to write about if they couldn’t stretch the truth and stir up emotions over issues that are rare and have minimal impact on travelers?
Although this one is pretty good, too:
There should be no reason for a tired pilot, there are so many pilots out of work, many would be pleased to be employed even if it is not full time work
And this:
I LOVE this—did you know that many American aircraft are serviced in countries in South America? Belize is one country. Just what i want—young men with an entirely different mind-set than an American regarding life in general, working on my plane. “Hey, lets get high. Oh the torque wrench stripped the nut—oh well, it’s almost siesta time, forget about it”.
